The Future is looking good for the natural gas industry.
In 2009 the natural gas industry generated 57,637 new jobs in LA. A study says that from 2010-2014 companies operating in the shale will spend nearly $25.8 billion in drilling expenditures and $57.5 million in estimated lease payments and will allocate approximately $672 million in royalty payments.
